Welcome to our child-led daycare center! Our dedicated kaiako (teachers) create stimulating environments that ignite children’s curiosity and support their development, both indoors and outdoors.
We are licensed to 10 under 2’s and 30 over 2’s.
We ensure personalized attention with a 1:3 ratio for children under 2 and a 1:6 ratio for children over 2. This nurturing and engaging approach helps children explore, learn, and grow at their own pace.
A typical day at our daycare center is structured to balance learning, play, and rest, ensuring a holistic experience for every child. The general outline of a day sheet in our welcome package.
Throughout the day, our kaiako provide individual attention, ensuring each child’s needs are met and interests are nurtured. Our low child-to-teacher ratios ensure a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive.
At our daycare center, we pride ourselves on a smooth and personalized transition process, understanding that each child is unique. The initial visit including the key transition teacher meets parents and the child, gathering detailed information about the child’s home routine, likes, and dislikes.
Parents stay with the child for one hour, helping them become familiar with the new environment alongside the key teacher.
The second visit and the third visit, parents are gradually reducing the involvement time and provide the chance to the key transition teacher with the child. The key teacher stays with the child throughout the visit, providing comfort and support to ease the transition.
At our daycare center, we believe in maintaining open and continuous communication with parents about their child’s learning and development. At the end of each day, you will see a brief summary of your child’s activities, including what they learned, played, and any notable moment in the Storypark (Digital Communication App access to a secure online portal where teachers upload photos, videos, and notes about your child’s day, allowing you to stay connected in real-time.)
A more detailed monthly learning story outlining your child’s progress, new skills they’ve developed, and areas of interest. You’re always welcome to schedule additional meetings or drop by to discuss your child’s progress with their teachers.
Yes, we provide nutritious meals at our daycare center. Our meal program is designed to offer balanced and healthy options that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of all children. We prioritize fresh, wholesome ingredients and can accommodate specific dietary requirements or allergies upon request. Meals are an integral part of our daily routine, ensuring children have the energy and nutrition they need to thrive throughout the day.
